The shelf featured here is a brand new Sierra. Knotty Alder is definitely my favorite material to work with. Add distressing, glazing, and thick corbels with salvaged antique bolts and what you end up with is a look that is very rustic and chic. The color and glazing makes for a medium brown hue rich with walnut tones. The bolts are 1″ wide and the washers are 3″ wide. Both are blackened steel with raised / forged lettering. All are hand finished and distressed one at a time, making each shelf look very unique.
