Beam and Brace

The mantel featured here is a brand new Beam and Brace design. Inspired by the Rocky Mountains and in the tradition of rustic beauty, we developed the Beam and Brace mantel to work with a cabin home and to have the feel of the ski resort just like the resorts that are just minutes away from our shop. Beam and Brace is made with Knotty Alder, one of my favorite materials to work with. Then we add distressing, glazing, and thick corner braces. Giving the mantel a look that is very rustic and chic. The color and glazing give this mantel a medium brown hue, rich with walnut tones. All are hand finished and distressed one at a time making each mantel very unique.

Vail

The shelf featured here is the Vail model and is our most premium shelf. Although the one shown here is quite large please know that yours will be made to any length that you desire, at no extra charge.

The body is salvaged barn wood that has been white and silver washed. The darker panels, along with the large 5.5″ crown and rope molding are Knotty Alder which has been glazed, giving it an unmistakable depth. The center carved panel has been painted an off white. The corbels are end trimmed with wrought iron scrolling. This is truly a one of a kind design.

Each Vail is handmade and finished one at a time, we do not stock this style so please allow us the time needed to make this art piece.

Summit

This is our Summit model. The photos show it Knotty Alder with the “English Chestnut” stain. The natural variation of knots and graining in Knotty Alder makes each shelf and set of corbels very unique.

Snake River

The shelf featured here is a brand new Snake River. The finish is “Espresso Black” with slight distressing and sand through edges. It’s crown and dentil mold combination gives this shelf a classic look, while the natural variation of knots and graining characteristics of knotty alder, make each shelf and set of corbels very unique.

Sierra

The shelf featured here is a brand new Sierra. Knotty Alder is definitely my favorite material to work with. Add distressing, glazing, and thick corbels with salvaged antique bolts and what you end up with is a look that is very rustic and chic. The color and glazing makes for a medium brown hue rich with walnut tones. The bolts are 1″ wide and the washers are 3″ wide. Both are blackened steel with raised / forged lettering. All are hand finished and distressed one at a time, making each shelf look very unique.

Sedona

The shelf featured here is a brand new “Sedona” from our Mountain Elegance line. It’s a larger shelf guaranteed to get noticed. The photos show it in a Knotty Alder which is definitely my favorite material to work with. The finish is “Moon White” with slight distressing and sand through edges. The next step in the finish process is to give it a walnut glaze which makes it look antiqued and very artistic. It’s larger crown and rope mold combination gives this shelf a classic look. The natural variation of open knots and graining are characteristics of knotty alder, making each shelf very unique.

Montana

This is a brand new Montana shelf. It’s made of Knotty Alder and includes hand hammered, thick metal straps. Each shelf is individually distressed and glazed.

The Montana includes everything just as you see it, completely finished and with all of the mounting pieces included. Also, included are easy to follow instructions to get your shelf up in no time!

Barnwood

Another customer favorite is our Barnwood shelf. It is made using aged wood and topped with Knotty Alder. This shelf can me made with a variety of finishes and sizes.
